Ghost Busters x NB Protection pack

This piece is a mix of the things that got me into art in the first place — pop culture, sneakers, and street style. I made it especially for Sneakerness Rotterdam, and I wanted it to reflect everything I love about those worlds.
The main inspiration comes from Ghostbusters. I’ve always loved how fun and weird that movie is, and it felt like the perfect match for the New Balance 2002R Protection Pack — one of my favorite sneakers. Its rough, layered look fits perfectly with the messy energy of chasing ghosts through the city.
If you look closely, you’ll see Zero, the ghost dog from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. I gave him a little twist by dressing him in a Carhartt dog coat — mixing streetwear and movie references in a fun, unexpected way.

This artwork is really just me having fun with all the things that inspire me. It’s a mash-up of nostalgia, sneakers, and street culture — and a reminder of why I started creating in the first place.
