Back in the day, Nike created sneakers with what many call the perfect shape — a sharp, clean, aggressive toe box that made the silhouette iconic. But not every release had that. Some pairs came with what's known as the banana shape — a rounded, awkward curve at the front that changed the entire look of the shoe.
To fix it, we had our methods: stuffing socks into the toe, wrapping the sneaker tight, and using a hot iron through a wet towel to reshape it. It wasn’t just about appearance — it was about restoring the design to what it was meant to be.
